If you mark your calendars to come and compete, you will be supporting the You will be supporting our mission of providing fresh fruits and vegetables to shelters, soup kitchens, and food pantries!

There are several ways and levels with which you can show your support for the community.

Registration will begin at 11:00 AM.  It will be a 12:00 PM Shotgun start, followed by food and fun.  Events to be held while out on the course are Long Drive, Hole in One for a Car, some Dixon Golf Games, and Closest to the Pin.  There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 game as well as Mulligans available for purchase.  Everyone will receive a randomized door prize.  Prizes will be awarded for the winners of the contests, the top teams, winners of the silent auctions items, and other contests that we have for the event.

Our Vision is simple–We want to change the way we feed the hungry.

OUR MISSION

• Provide fresh fruits and vegetables to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, senior centers, and food banks in Dauphin and Lebanon Counties, and

• Encourage at-risk children and their families to make healthier food choices, increasing their access to fresh, local food and teaching them to live more sustainably.

OUR BELIEF

• Poverty should never be an obstacle to eating fresh fruits and vegetables.

HOW WE ADDRESS IMMEDIATE NEEDS

• We buy fresh fruit and vegetables, local when possible or donated from local gardeners–and distribute that produce free to soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, and senior centers using our Mobile Farmer’s Market.

• Using the Mobile Farmer’s Market, we also operate an All-Kids Mobile Farmer’s Market where school-age children can pick and choose their own produce to take home. We include an educational component about nutrition by providing a packet of child-centered information. The key is that the CHILDREN choose, not an adult. The result is that they are more likely to eat what they choose and involve their families.

• We operate a Reverse Food Truck which appears at local public events and collects food (produce) vs. selling food.
